Cornerstone Bar celebrates 21 years in Tauranga after overcoming financial crises and redevelopment

Cornerstone Bar, a Tauranga establishment, is celebrating 21 years of operation this Saturday, having overcome significant economic challenges and city redevelopment. The family-owned bar, opened in 2004, has navigated the Global Financial Crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic, and ongoing Tauranga CBD redevelopment, alongside a relocation and name change. Originally named Kingsley Jones, it became Cornerstone Bar and has since moved locations on The Strand, adapting to survive and thrive over two decades.
