Cops dismantle meth lab in Greater Noida linked to Mexican cartel

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has dismantled a meth lab in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) from Mexico. Five suspects, including four foreign nationals, were arrested, and 95 kg of meth valued at Rs 150 crore was seized. The operation took place on October 25, marking the sixth meth lab bust in India this year. The lab was reportedly run by a West Delhi businessman, a Tihar jail warden, and a Mumbai chemist, indicating a significant criminal network. The CJNG is known for its violent tactics and has expanded its operations into Southeast Asia. This incident highlights the growing influence of international drug cartels in India.
