Compost aloe vera peels safely to enrich your garden soil

Aloe vera peels can be composted instead of thrown away, offering garden benefits, but they contain latex and aloin and should not be eaten or applied to skin. The peels, often discarded after gel extraction, can be cut into pieces and added to compost piles or garden compost. They can be dried first, mixed with other plant scraps, or included in kitchen-waste systems to enrich soil and reduce waste. Aloe vera leaves contain latex and aloin in outer layers.
