Community members in Rio de Janeiro's Chapéu Mangueira and Babilônia favelas map extreme indoor heat

Residents of Chapéu Mangueira and Babilônia are participating in a study to map extreme heat inside their homes. The international project uses sensors and community science to document indoor temperatures, highlighting how infrastructure failures exacerbate heat impacts.
