Commerce Department facilitates $4.2 billion locomotive sale to Kazakhstan

The U.S. Department of Commerce brokered a $4.2 billion deal for Wabtec Corporation to sell 300 locomotives to Kazakhstan. This agreement, signed during the UN General Assembly, is described as the largest rail equipment deal in history and is expected to support over 11,000 American jobs.
