Coimbatore hosts "Run for Nation" marathon on July 27

The "Run for Nation 2025" marathon, organized by VGM Hospital and Kovai Athletic Club, will take place on July 27 in Coimbatore, aiming for over 7,000 participants. The event's promotional launch was held Saturday, with the Coimbatore Mayor in attendance. The marathon will feature over 150 differently-abled participants and aims to raise funds for students in corporation schools. The 2024 edition, recognized as the second-largest in the district, saw 4,300 runners. The event will also promote health awareness and offer ₹1.5 lakh in cash prizes.
