Coimbatore couple consumed cyanide, unable to repay debts

A goldsmith and his wife died by suicide in Coimbatore on Thursday after consuming cyanide due to their inability to repay debts. The couple, M Thirumurugan, 47, and T Pradeepa Ramani, 40, were found dead in their home. Thirumurugan's goldsmith business suffered significant losses, leading to their desperate act. Their daughter, who had just received her Class XII results, was sent away before the suicide. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
