Coca-Cola to acquire Australian beverage brand Billson’s following voluntary administration

The owners, Nathan and Felicity Cowan, expressed relief that their popular drinks will continue under Coca-Cola's management. Billson’s, known for its cordials and pre-mixed drinks, faced challenges due to rapid growth since the Cowans took over in 2017. They acknowledged mistakes in managing the business, leading to its financial troubles. As part of the acquisition, Billson’s will undergo a name change. The Cowans have suggested names like Isabella’s or George’s to honor the original founders and are seeking public input for the new name.
