CNN reporters question GOP claims on JFK assassination as new task force is announced
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) announced a new Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets, focusing on the 1963 JFK assassination. She suggested there were two shooters, challenging the single bullet theory, but CNN's Evan Perez noted there is no evidence for her claims. The FBI recently found previously unfiled documents related to JFK's assassination after President Biden ordered a digitization of records. Perez explained that these documents were not discovered until this process began, leaving questions about their significance. Luna's task force will also investigate other high-profile cases, including the assassinations of RFK and Martin Luther King Jr., unidentified aerial phenomena, the Epstein client list, the origins of Covid-19, and 9/11 files.
