Clash at Western Galilee protest after vehicle occupants attack demonstrators
A violent confrontation erupted Saturday evening at a protest junction in Kabri in Israel’s Western Galilee, where a vehicle's occupants allegedly attacked demonstrators. No physical injuries were reported, but the incident caused a disturbance at the scene. According to people at the scene, the female driver shouted insults before attempting to drive toward protesters. Two passengers then exited the vehicle, with one allegedly snatching an Israeli flag from a retiree and using the flagpole to attack others. The incident occurred amid dozens of anti-government protests across northern and central Israel, which included memorial ceremonies for those killed on October 7. Police did not immediately report arrests in connection with the confrontation.
