CIA warns France, Spain, Italy of possible Russian drone strikes on Mediterranean coasts

The CIA has reportedly warned France, Spain, and Italy of a potential Russian drone attack targeting their Mediterranean coastlines, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo. The warning follows CIA Director John Ratcliffe's August trip to Latvia. The alleged threat involves Russia's Gerbera drone, which can be launched from merchant ships and has a range of 600 kilometers. Potential targets reportedly include French aviation plants, military bases, nuclear plants, and petrochemical complexes, with a list circulating on Telegram. Separately, Danish military intelligence stated on September 24 that a Russian invasion of a NATO country is unlikely but cannot be ruled out, describing the risk of limited attacks as "low but increasing."
