Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey has become his highest-grossing film ever, surpassing his Batman movies, with $1.104 billion worldwide after four weeks. In its fourth weekend, it added $31.5 million domestically, reaching $461 million in the U.S. and $643 million internationally. Unadjusted for inflation, it surpassed The Dark Knight Rises ($1.08 billion) and The Dark Knight ($1.008 billion). The film, shot entirely in IMAX 65mm, has earned $289 million from IMAX theaters, a record previously held by Avatar. It opens in China on August 14.
