Chittoor Collector emphasizes sanitation and local issue resolution in village administration

Chittoor District Collector Sumit Kumar has instructed panchayat secretaries to focus on sanitation in villages. He emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and freshwater tanks during a meeting with local officials in Palamaner. Kumar urged field staff to visit village secretariats regularly and respond quickly to public grievances. He also directed zonal officials to handle local issues directly, reducing the need for applicants to visit multiple offices. To improve revenue management, the Collector asked Tahsildars to conduct dedicated revenue seminars. He received petitions from villagers and stressed the need for effective resolution of their concerns.
