Chip Zdarsky's new comic explores U.S.-Canada tensions

Chip Zdarsky, known for his work on Batman, is launching a new comic titled "White House Robot Romance." This series, published by DSTLRY, features two kitchen robots who fall in love, unintentionally causing a crisis between the U.S. and Canada. The story follows Chef-9 and Service-1 as they escape the White House. Service-1's memory holds sensitive information that could affect international relations. This project marks a shift from Zdarsky's superhero work to a blend of romance and political intrigue. Each issue will be presented in DSTLRY's premium format, featuring high-quality covers and 48 pages of content. The release date for the first issue has not been announced.
