Child, 8, struck by motorcycle in Ceilândia Norte, Brasília

An 8-year-old child was struck by a motorcycle on Saturday evening in Ceilândia Norte, Brasília, and was taken to a hospital with facial trauma. The child was conscious and oriented at the time of transport. The incident occurred around 8:21 p.m. at Quadra Norte M 8. The Federal District Military Fire Department responded with two vehicles, and the motorcyclist remained at the scene. The circumstances of the accident have not yet been determined. This follows other recent pedestrian accidents in the region, including an 11-year-old boy hit in Planaltina in September and a 12-year-old girl struck on W3 Norte, where the driver fled the scene.
