Chikkamagaluru police recover weapons linked to Maoists in forest operation

Chikkamagaluru Police seized a cache of arms and ammunition believed to belong to Maoists in a forest area near Kittaleguli. The recovery included an AK-56, three rifles, a pistol, and 176 rounds of ammunition. The seizure occurred after six Maoists surrendered on January 10 in Bengaluru, where they did not turn over any weapons. Police confirmed they would recover the arms following the surrender process.
