Chen Tai-he wins Taiwan's Golden Harvest Best Actor award
Actor Chen Tai-he, previously recognized as a "very new actor," won the Best Actor award at the 47th Golden Harvest Awards for his roles in "Youth's Backhand Kill" and "Prison Dog." Chen, who played a table tennis player in "Youth's Backhand Kill," trained for two months before filming. He shared the Best Actor award with Yang Fu-jiang, Zhu Zhi-ying, and Zhang Ning, with judge Yang Ya-che praising his potential. The Golden Harvest Awards also recognized "Youth's Backhand Kill" as Best Student Drama. Additionally, the jury awarded a special prize to the short film "The Next Day," which explores the relationship between an idol and their fans.
