Chelsea loanee Lesley Ugochukwu removes Southampton from social media after limited playing time

Chelsea midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has removed all references to Southampton from his Instagram account, signaling dissatisfaction with his lack of playing time. He has started only two Premier League matches since joining Southampton on loan for the 2024/25 season. Ugochukwu was not included in the squad for Southampton's recent match against Brighton. He is also ineligible to play against Chelsea, his parent club, in an upcoming game, which adds to his frustration. Since joining Chelsea from Rennes for £23 million in August 2023, Ugochukwu has made just 15 appearances for the club. He may seek a new loan opportunity in January to gain more playing time.
