This detail was noticed during Chelsea's 2-0 loss to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup. Mudryk played the full match as Chelsea exited the tournament. He had previously come off the bench in a Premier League win against Newcastle and scored in a Conference League match against Panathinaikos. Despite limited league starts this season, Mudryk has contributed one goal and five assists in 11 matches across all competitions. His last league start was in August against Wolves.
