Chelsea Empet wins Scholastic Superstar award

Chelsea Empet, a student at Mountain View Junior/Senior High School, has been named a Scholastic Superstar for 2025. She was selected by local officials based on nominations from her school. Empet is proud of winning the PA FBLA Agribusiness competition and earning the regional PJAS Senior Award of Excellency in Zoology. She is involved in 4-H, which she says has influenced her personal growth. Empet plans to study animal science and business at Penn State or Cornell University after graduation. She enjoys spending time on her family's farm and admires her grandfather, Dale Empet.
