Chatham woman's Nissan Qashqai smashed twice in targeted attacks caught on doorbell camera

A woman in Chatham believes she is being targeted after her Nissan Qashqai's windows were smashed twice in under a week, with doorbell footage capturing one attack. The incidents occurred on August 19 and August 24 on Waghorn Street, where no other vehicles were damaged. The 30-year-old mother paid £280 for the first repair and £140 for the second, after a man was filmed hitting the glass in broad daylight. She claims the suspect stalked the area for 30 minutes before the attack, and footage shows him throwing his jacket into a grey van nearby. The victim, who has owned the car for a month, says she does not know the attackers and has no reason to be targeted. Neighbours suggested mistaken identity, but she dismissed this as the car previously belonged to her father. Kent Police has been contacted.
