Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker meets NFL legend Ray Wersching after historic fair-catch kick

Cameron Dicker made NFL history with a successful fair-catch kick, the first since 1976. Ray Wersching, who made the last one, visited the Chargers to meet Dicker and share his experience. Dicker's 57-yard kick is now the longest fair-catch kick ever. Wersching, a former kicker for the Chargers and 49ers, praised Dicker's achievement. He noted the evolution of kicking in the NFL, where long-distance kicks are now more common. Dicker has also excelled this season, making 31 of 33 field goals. Dicker recently hosted a charity event for kids and is recognized for his contributions on and off the field. The Chargers are currently 9-6 and can secure a playoff spot with a win against the New England Patriots.
