Chanel's Kyoto collection features comets, wings, and lions
Chanel unveiled its new high jewelry collection, "Reach For The Stars," in Kyoto, featuring comet, wing, and lion motifs. The collection includes 109 pieces, with the wing motif making its debut as a key theme. The collection's highlights include the Wings of Chanel necklace with a 19.55-carat Padparadscha sapphire and the Five Wings brooches, a collaboration with a Kyoto-based lacquer artisan. The comet and lion motifs, central to Chanel's history, are also reinterpreted. The collection draws inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel's personal symbols and her Hollywood experiences, offering a dreamlike, celestial aesthetic. The collection aims to evoke a sense of wonder and encourage wearers to embrace their dreams.
