CERN scientists reveal tetraquark structure

CERN research sheds light on the structure of exotic tetraquarks, particles composed of four quarks. Scientists analyzed data from proton collisions at the LHC, revealing that these tetraquarks have a strong internal structure, similar to the bonds within protons and neutrons. This study, published in Nature, contributes to a better understanding of matter's fundamental composition and involved around 200 scientific institutions globally.
