Cathay Pacific plans 9,692 flights in January with focus on Asia routes

Cathay Pacific is set to operate 9,692 flights in January 2025, a 27.1% increase from January 2024. The airline will serve over 100 destinations, focusing heavily on intra-Asia routes, which make up more than 75% of its operations. The busiest route is between Hong Kong and Taipei, with 380 flights scheduled. Other key Asian destinations include Bangkok and Singapore, while North America sees 842 flights, primarily to New York and Los Angeles. In Europe, Cathay Pacific will operate 674 flights, mainly to London. The airline also serves Australia and New Zealand, with Sydney as the top route. In Africa, it has one route to Johannesburg, with 17 flights planned.
