Carver Aviation plans flying academy at Karnataka's Vijayapura Airport

Carver Aviation, a Baramati-based flying training organisation, has expressed interest in establishing a satellite flying academy at Vijayapura Airport in Karnataka, which is ready for inauguration. Infrastructure Development Minister M B Patil held discussions with company officials, who have requested 2.5 acres adjoining the airport for the facility. The proposed academy would support pilot training, aircraft maintenance, MRO, and ground support activities, using the airport's runway and infrastructure. The project could create hundreds of jobs and provide training opportunities for local students, with company officials assuring concessions on fees. Carver Aviation, operational since 1995, is a DGCA-approved organisation.
