Canceled Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon! finds new life as stage adaptation

The canceled Apple TV+ series "Schmigadoon!" is being adapted into a stage production. The show, which ran for two seasons, was canceled last year despite a fully written third season. The stage adaptation recently opened at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. It includes new songs, some of which were cut from the original series. The showrunner, Cinco Paul, is involved in the stage version. There are discussions about possibly bringing the written third season to life in some form. "Schmigadoon!" is still available for streaming on Apple TV+.
