Canada wins seven medals at short track worlds
Canada's short track speed skating team won seven medals, including four golds, at the ISU world championships in Beijing. This marks the first time since 1994 that Canada has won the most events at the championships. Steven Dubois led the way with three victories, including gold in the men's 1,000 meters and the mixed relay. He also contributed to the men's relay team's gold in the 5,000 meters, finishing ahead of China and South Korea. Other notable performances included William Dandjinou, who won silver in the 1,000 meters and gold in the 1,500 meters. Rikki Doak and Courtney Sarault also earned individual silver medals in the women's 500 and 1,500 meters, respectively.
