A bronze sculpture by Camille Claudel, lost for over a century, sold for €3.7 million ($3.8 million) at auction in Paris. This price is more than double its pre-sale estimate. Titled L’Age Mûr, the sculpture depicts a man and two women, reflecting themes of loss and personal tragedy. Claudel created several versions of this piece. The sculpture was discovered in an abandoned apartment by an auctioneer. It is now the second most-expensive work by Claudel, following a previous sale of another piece in 2013.
