Camaiore police checks lead to charges for restaurant owner with suspended license

A restaurant owner in Versilia was reported to prosecutors after providing false identification to Camaiore municipal police during checks, as he was driving with a suspended license and an uninspected vehicle. He now faces sanctions and legal action. Police stopped 30 vehicles and identified 50 people during recent joint patrols with Viareggio officers, focusing on Lido and nightlife areas. The 50-year-old was caught driving with a suspended license and an uninspected car, initially giving false details to evade the checks. Separately, over 10 fines were issued for waste bins left out at improper times along Lido di Camaiore's seafront promenade, and a street vendor was penalized for selling sandwiches in a restricted area. Further controls are planned for the upcoming weekend.
