The Calvados prefecture urges strict measures to prevent the spread of bovine nodular dermatosis, a disease affecting cattle. Farmers are advised against introducing animals from other departments for two months, especially from areas with outbreaks. This aims to avoid contagion as the disease spreads in eastern and southern France. State services will increase health surveillance and controls on animal movements and trade until the disease is contained.
