California State University launches AI initiative for students and faculty
The California State University system has partnered with major tech companies to create an AI-powered education initiative. This program will provide AI tools and training to all 460,000 students and 63,000 faculty across its 23 universities. The initiative includes collaboration with companies like Adobe, Google, and Microsoft. It aims to enhance learning and teaching experiences, making advanced AI tools, including a special version of ChatGPT, widely available. The CSU system plans to roll out these AI resources in the coming weeks. This effort seeks to develop a skilled AI workforce in California and improve educational outcomes across various fields of study.
