California Science Center prepares space expansion with shuttle Endeavour and rocket artifacts

The California Science Center is installing artifacts in its new Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center expansion, which will house the Space Shuttle Endeavour vertically. Three previewed items include a Rocket Lab Electron rocket, a shuttle main engine, and a walk-through solid rocket booster segment that has flown to space. The expansion, set to open next year, will also feature aviation and space exploration galleries, with an opening date to be announced in 2026.
