Butch Wilmore adjusts to life after nine months in space

Barry “Butch” Wilmore is back home with his family after spending nine months in space. His daughter, Daryn, shared an update on social media, saying her father is adjusting to life on Earth and they are enjoying quality family time together. Daryn mentioned that they chose not to film their reunion to keep the moment private. She also expressed her frustration with the attention and misinformation surrounding her father's mission. Despite some challenges during the trip, both astronauts remained positive and never felt abandoned. After returning on March 18, Butch will undergo medical tests to readjust to Earth's gravity. Daryn has prepared his favorite dessert, pecan pie, to celebrate his return and hopes to revisit cherished family activities in the coming days.
