Bus driver charged in death of woman passenger in Pune

A PMPML bus driver has been charged with rash and negligent driving after a woman passenger died. The incident occurred on October 16 when the driver moved the bus as she was getting off with her children. The woman's husband filed a complaint on October 30 with the Kondhwa police. The police have registered a case against the driver, who has not yet been arrested. Charges include violations of the Motor Vehicles Act and relevant sections of the BNS.
