Burglars fail to steal cash from Bank of India branch in Ludhiana

Burglars attempted to break into the Bank of India’s Raikot branch by drilling a hole in the rear wall but did not steal any cash. The incident occurred overnight from Friday to Saturday. The robbers cut the power supply to the bank's CCTV cameras, complicating identification efforts. They damaged the cash room door and a cash counting machine before leaving empty-handed. Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing nearby CCTV footage. An FIR has been filed against unidentified suspects for attempted theft and trespassing.
