Bulgaria summons Ukraine ambassador over drone explosion near Kardam

Bulgaria summoned Ukraine's ambassador after a drone entered its airspace and exploded near a border checkpoint; a meeting is set for August 10. The drone crossed from Romania on August 8, flying about 100 meters over Bulgarian territory before exploding near the Kardam checkpoint and compressor station. Bulgarian officials preliminarily identified it as a Ukrainian "Maya" decoy drone but said the incident did not appear intentional.
