Bulgaria: drone blast near Trans-Balkan pipeline likely Ukrainian decoy

Bulgaria's Defense Ministry concluded a drone that exploded near the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline compressor station was likely a Ukrainian "Maya" decoy drone, though not necessarily intentional. The ministry said debris analysis suggests the aircraft was a Maya decoy widely used by Ukrainian forces, adding there are no grounds to believe the incident was deliberate. President Rumen Radev said the drone entered from Romania. The blast occurred 1,000 meters from the station near the former Kardam checkpoint. Romania recently shot down drones, including a Shahed on July 24, after repeated Russian incursions along the Danube.
