Buildcheck Raises $12M to Expand AI Design Review Platform for Construction

Buildcheck AI has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Telescope Partners, with participation from DPR Construction's venture arm WND Ventures and existing investors. The round brings total funding to $18 million and will support customer expansion and four new product extensions. The company's computer vision technology reads blueprints and runs automated checks to catch errors, omissions, and coordination conflicts that human reviewers miss. Buildcheck has grown over 4x to more than 110 paying customers, including DPR Construction, EllisDon, and Power Construction, who report 10-35x ROI across various project types. The new funding will launch Custom Checks, Diffs, Code Reviews, and Value Engineering modules, evolving Buildcheck from running checks into a comprehensive design review platform. Design errors cost the $13 trillion construction industry over $200 billion annually.
