BSF official reviewed North Bengal's border security

BSF's Eastern Command ADG reviewed operational readiness in North Bengal, emphasizing heightened vigilance along the India-Bangladesh border. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal assessed the security situation and emerging challenges, including trans-border crime, during his visit to the North Bengal frontier on Thursday. He inspected electronic surveillance and discussed operational and administrative issues with BSF officials. The review occurred amid heightened security concerns following India's military action in Pakistan and included a focus on the border with Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. BSF also apprehended nine Bangladeshi nationals on Friday.
