Bruno Fernandes names Bournemouth's Alex Scott as the midfielder he admires most

Manchester United signed three midfielders this summer, but Bruno Fernandes has singled out Bournemouth's Alex Scott as a player he particularly admires. The Portuguese captain praised Scott's performances and suggested he could earn a spot in the PFA Team of the Year. United spent £155million on Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba, while Scott remained at Bournemouth despite Chelsea's late push and a rejected £64m bid. The 23-year-old is also tracked by Arsenal and Liverpool and is regarded as one of England's most gifted ball-playing midfielders. Scott, signed from Bristol City for £25m three years ago, has rejected a new contract and is entering the final two years of his deal. Bournemouth now value him at around £100m, potentially quadrupling their initial investment.
