Brooklyn community darkroom fights closure to save analog art

Brooklyn's Bushwick Community Darkroom faces imminent closure on June 30 after its founder announced she can no longer sustain it financially. Members and filmmakers are rallying to save the analog art space, launching a fundraising campaign and developing a new business model after a takeover offer failed. The darkroom, established in 2011, is one of the few remaining hubs for traditional film photography and printing, offering classes and a shared creative environment.
