British influencer, Vietnamese monk, US professor learn Romanian in Bucharest

Seventy foreigners, including a British influencer, a Vietnamese Catholic monk, and a US professor, are attending an intensive Romanian language course in Bucharest through August 9. Among them is Reuben Constantine, a 24-year-old Oxford graduate and influencer, who speaks 11 languages and fluent Romanian. The course, directed by Professor Ionuț Geană, costs 800 euros plus housing for individual enrollees. Other participants include a philosophy professor writing about Brâncuși in New York and a department head from the University of Haifa. Reuben learned Romanian through free Oxford courses.
