British Gas to offer half-price electricity for customers on Christmas Day and Boxing Day

British Gas will offer half-price electricity to thousands of households on Christmas Day and Boxing Day from 11am to 4pm. This offer is available to all customers with a smart meter and requires sign-up by December 15. Last year, British Gas provided a similar discount, resulting in £1.4 million in customer credits. Other energy firms, like E.ON Next and EDF, are also offering discounts during the holiday period, with different eligibility requirements. In addition to holiday offers, various energy companies have programs to help customers save on bills or receive financial assistance. These include grants for struggling households and schemes that reward reduced energy use during peak times.
