Brighouse to receive £19.1 million upgrade with new indoor market and improved green spaces

Brighouse, a market town in West Yorkshire, will receive a £19.1 million upgrade, including a new indoor market. Construction is already underway, with the market featuring 21 fixed stalls and additional space for events. The project aims to enhance connections between the town center and green spaces, adding more walking and cycling routes. Improvements will also include new pedestrian areas, road resurfacing, and seating. The Brighouse Town Deal is funded by the UK Government and is part of a broader plan to revitalize the town, building on its existing attractions and community strengths.
