Brazil's government will not hold a new Unified National Public Service Exam in 2026. Instead, it plans to call in surplus candidates from ongoing selections. Minister Esther Dweck stated that 2026 is allocated for summoning approved candidates and those exceeding the required number from current exams, including the second edition of the Unified exam. The Unified exam this year offers 3,652 positions. The government aims to make this process a permanent policy, with the National Public Administration School (Enap) now responsible for its execution.
