Brazilian banks are launching a debt renegotiation initiative starting November 1st, offering special conditions to help consumers settle overdue financial obligations. The campaign, organized by Febraban, will allow negotiation of credit card, overdraft, and personal loan debts. Participants can receive discounts or reduced interest rates on refinanced amounts. Over 160 financial institutions are expected to participate, with support from the Central Bank and consumer protection agencies.
