Brazil advances to South American Championship final stage

Brazil's U-17 women's national team secured a spot in the final hexagonal round of the South American Championship after defeating Ecuador 5-1. They finished the first phase undefeated. The Brazilian team's victory over Ecuador solidified their top position in Group B, making them the only team with a perfect record of four wins. The upcoming hexagonal will feature Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. The top four teams in the hexagonal will qualify for the U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco. Peru, coached by a Brazilian, is a new addition to the final round.
