Bovine bone with hyaluronic acid improves immediate implant osseointegration in Egypt

A randomized trial found adding natural bovine bone with hyaluronic acid around immediate implants improved stability and bone density while reducing buccal bone loss. Sixteen patients received immediate implants; half received the graft. At four months, implant stability was higher in grafted group (72.25 vs 64.88). Bone density increased more, and buccal bone loss was lower (3.88% vs 15.99%). Conducted in Egypt, the study was limited by small sample and short follow-up; the graft's independent effect from hyaluronic acid was not isolated.
