Botswana Deaconess, 70s, Publishes Gospel Book to Spread Teachings
Kgomotsego Modiakgotla, a deaconess in her early 70s from Molepolole, Botswana, has published a book titled "The Golden Diary of a Christian Mother" to expand her gospel mission beyond house-to-house preaching. The book compiles her daily devotional writings, encouraged by church members Fatima Selaledi and Isabella Makgatswane. It aims to teach repentance and God's will for both elderly and youth, though funding the publication proved challenging. Modiakgotla appealed to government authorities to buy local authors' books for schools, promoting reading culture over internet browsing. She urged aspiring Christian writers to trust God and persist in their calling, noting the purple and lilac cover symbolizes spirituality and motherhood.
